Power-tool housings and guards have traditionally been injection molded. Many engineers have discovered the benefits that blow molding offers. Combinations of single and double walls provide features that require injection molders to add parts and cost. The protection offered by double-wall blow-molded guards is superior, yet the costs are often the lowest.
